  • What is your process for selecting and hiring vendors?
    We maintain a curated list of trusted vendors and thoroughly vet new vendors. After discussing your event objectives, we’ll provide you with some options tailored to your dinner party’s vision and budget. Once decisions are made, we’ll handle all vendor coordination.
  • When do we need to start planning my dinner party?
    Saint + Social requires at least 2 months to properly plan your dinner party, however most clients start planning their event 4-6 months out to take advantage of the best vendor rates.
  • What tasks am I responsible for as the client?
    1. Sending out invitations to your guests. But don’t worry, we’ll provide you with communication templates, follow up reminders, and an RSVP form that Saint + Social will use to track RSVPs and dietary restrictions. 2. Approving major vendors and signing contracts. Saint + Social will curate a list of options for you to quickly and easily review. 3. Showing up to your dinner party, enjoying the evening, and connecting with your guests. Saint + Social will help you plan out and write your remarks, and we’ll also keep an eye on the clock throughout the evening so your dinner party follows the schedule.

    Of course! Part of our planning process involves understanding a client’s preferred design details. Clients will also receive a personalized mood board to align on visual aspects of their dinner party. This allows for any desired adjustments to be made before our team begins curating items.

    This refers to all the creative, visual elements of your dinner party. The two most common design details we tackle include floor planning and the tablescape.

    We ask guests about their dietary restrictions during the RSVP process, then communicate that information to our food and beverage vendors.
  • What if unexpected issues or emergencies come up during the dinner party?
    While we don’t anticipate wild plot twists, Saint + Social will quickly and quietly resolve issues behind-the-scenes so that you can focus on spending time with your guests.
  • What if guests cancel at the last minute?
    First, we mourn the fact that they’ll miss out on such a special experience. Second, we thank ourselves for thinking through this ahead of time. Part of Saint + Social’s planning process includes creating a standby list of attendees, when appropriate. These can be individuals within a client’s network, or individuals from our network.
  • What if my company has an in-house marketing team?
    Saint + Social loves collaboration! We welcome the opportunity to partner with internal marketing teams to bring a client's dinner party to life. In our experience, planning a dinner party requires a significant time investment, typically ranging from 40 to 60 hours. Given these demands, in-house marketing teams may become overwhelmed juggling event planning alongside their other marketing initiatives. By working together, we can alleviate this burden and ensure a successful event.
  • What if I need to cancel or change my event date?
    If you need to cancel or change your dinner party date, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, please note that availability of vendors may vary, and there could be challenges related to non-refundable deposits. We'll work closely with you to find the best solution and minimize any inconvenience
  • What if I've never hosted a dinner party before? What do I say and do?
    Saint + Social’s planning process includes thorough host preparation. We’ll provide you with invitation and follow up communication templates, as well as a draft of your dinner party remarks. An itinerary for the evening will be created and reviewed with you in advance, and during the dinner party, Saint + Social will watch the clock and make sure we follow the schedule. Your only job as a host is to show up and build relationships with the people around the table. Leave the rest of the details to us!
